Once upon a time, a woman named Tania loved her black lab, Chloe. One day, Chloe said to Tania, “We should start a bookstore.” “Splendid idea! Tania agreed.
In 2010, they opened Black Dog Books in an 1850’s house on Zionsville’s charming Main Street, at the heart of the Village. Beautiful, leather bindings and rare collectible books (that come from Indiana homes) steal the show. Also, gently read books, new books and local author’s books share the shelves.
Black lab Sophie followed Chloe. She greets everyone and gets lots of tummy rubs. One day Sophie said to Tania, “This is the life!” Tania agrees wholeheartedly.
