SALLY BASSETT BROWN, Ph.D., is the founder and president of Peace Through Yoga Foundation, a nonprofit organization where the mission is to make an impact through transformational yoga and service. She is an adjunct professor at Butler University, teaching yoga basics and philosophy, and at the Christian Theological Seminary, teaching "yoga and spirituality. Sally continues to teach at Peace Through Yoga studios which she founded in 2002.
Sally Bassett Brown's book, Yoga through Christ: Via the Eight Limbs of Yoga" is a book that will enable readers to have a deeper relationship with God. It is an inspiring how-to manual book for yoga students and teachers, Christians, theologians, general audiences, and those who are searching for direction and guidelines for a deeper spiritual life. The book takes a step-by-step approach, and is considered a ministry from the mat.
Sally Bassett will speak at 1:30 and take questions afterwards as well as signing her book. Refreshments will be served. The event is free. Please call (317)733-1747 to reserve your copy.
