Join us 1-3PM on Saturday, April 28th at Black Dog Books for Carol Michel's double book signing: Homegrown and Handpicked: A Year in a Gardening Life and Potted and Pruned: Living a Gardening Life, both recently published. Carol is a lifelong gardener with a bachelor's degree in horticulture from Purdue. She is an avid collector of old gardening books and claims to have the largest hoe collection in the world. She regularly writes for Indiana Gardening and her award-winning garden blog, www.maydreamsgarden.com.
Carol writes with humor and she also slips in gardening tips and wisdom in her entertaining essays. She makes gardening fun and will inspire readers to get out and garden!
Carol will be bringing some of the most interesting hoes from her collection to the book signing event! We are also inviting people to bring perennials from their gardens to swap. Carol will speak briefly at 1:30 and take questions. Please RSVP to Black Dog Books at 317-733-1747. Event is free and refreshments will be served.
