Black Dog Books will be broadcasting 4 interviews with 8 authors from Speed City Sisters in Crime
to discuss their new book, Murder 20/20
on our Facebook Page, 9AM - 9PM
Tuesday, 10/6, Wednesday, 10/7, Thursday, 10/8 & Friday 10/9.
17 Speed City Sisters in Crime authors contributed stories to Murder 20/20
(an anthology of 17 short crime stories set in Indiana).
Speed City Sisters in Crime is a group of mystery crime writers here in Indiana.
Many of them are published authors, others are readers and fans of the genre.
They hold monthly meetings with fascinating speakers.
Due to the pandemic, we are doing this event virtually.
Murder 20/20 will be available for purchase at Black Dog Books beginning the week of our event.
Sisters in Crime has donated a signed copy to be given away in a drawing 10/31. If you'd like
to win this book, please listen to the broadcasts to learn how you can enter your name in the drawing.

Black Dog Books & Rescue Boutique cohost BOOKS & PUPPIES! 11-2pm, Saturday, October 10th @ 115 S. Main St., Zionsville.
Rescue Boutique brings adorable puppies that are available for adoption. They also have a wonderful boutique full of pet supplies, including toys. To find out more about how to adopt a puppy go to Rescue Boutique's Facebook page.
Black Dog Books brings author Diane Banks and illustrator Donna Arnold to sign copies of their book, Squirt Gets a New Home: A Story About Being Adopted. Is part of the Puppy Tale series that teaches young children positive values.
Diane has been an educator all of her life in many different arenas. She is now a grandmother and treasures her time reading with her five grand children.
BOOKS & PUPPIES will take place on our Oak Street lawn in front of Rescue Boutique. For more information or to reserve copies of the book please call us at 317-733-1747.

THE RAVEN returns evermore!
This year, due to COVID, we will offer a virtual candlelight reading
on Black Dog Books' Facebook page
8:00-12:00 on Friday, October 30th.
We thank Cameron Nunan for creating the video from our annual Raven event last year.
And we especially thank Patrick Kalahar for his wonderful reading of the Raven over the years!
He helped to create a tradition that we'll continue evermore!
