Please plan on visiting BLACK DOG BOOKS on Main Street in Zionsville during this year's INDY INDIE BOOK CRAWL.  We carry a wonderful mix of antiquarian collectible books, fine bindings, classics, local author books and some new books as well!

The INDY INDIE BOOK CRAWL is a festive four day annual event (March 19 - March 22nd) with 36 participating independent bookstores and 7 literary organizations.  Pick up your bookmark/passport at any participating bookstore, and get it stamped along the way for a chance to win prizes..  (See indyindiebookcrawl.com).

BLACK DOG BOOKS will be hosting two authors pertaining to Ireland during the book crawl:  Rosalyn Crowley, 11-4 on  Saturday, March 21st and Diane Hartman, 11-3 on Sunday, March 22nd.  See separate postings on these events.)

Come meet local Irish author and artist ROSALEEN CROWLEY, 11-4, Saturday, March 21st, during day 3 of the INDY INDIE BOOK CRAWL.  Rosaleen will be signing copies of her poetry books:  Of Land and Poetry:  Ireland (poems written in Ireland about Ireland), Point of Connection, Point of Perception and Be Prepared to be Luminous.  She has written and illustrated the books.  Most of the illustrations come from her paintings.

Come meet DIANE HARTMAN, (who recently wrote Getting Lost on my Way:  Self-Discovery on Ireland's Backroads), 11-3, Sunday, March 22nd at Black Dog Books. This heartfelt and humorous account of Diane's adventures was motivated by her love of Irish music and Celtic spirituality, along with her desire to find healing from depression and divorce.

Black Dog Books will be opening a MAPORIUM within our bookstore soon!  Maps have always been one of our main and popular items along with books and art.  Now, they will have a dedicated room of their own.

The MAPORIUM will have a SOFT OPENING on JUNE 11th during Zionsville's "SIP, STROLL & SHOP" 4-8PM.  A GRAND OPENING will follow later this summer!  We invite you to come and check it out!
